LeapFrog Tag Price and Features

LeapFrog Tag Price and Features: Tag is a pen-shaped book reader and educational toy that serves as the successor to the popular interactive book, LeapPad. It aims to enhance a child’s listening and reading comprehension and provides basic foundation for developing his or her writing skills. Tag provides software (compatible with Windows and Mac) for managing and syncing audio for the books. The specially made books feature an optical pattern of dots that the Tag pen can recognize.

My 5-year old son uses Tag and I would say that the device is worth it since he has learned a lot from playing with it. It also offers a wide selection of reading materials that are ideal for his age. However, there are a several disadvantages with the tag reading system such as its small built-in memory (only 32MB), the need for Internet connection, and the rather poor quality of the software that manages the syncing of the device from the computer.
