Toyota Camry Price List in Philippine Peso (as of January 2012): The Toyota Camry is a mid-size car that’s been manufactured in Japan since 1980. The name “Camry” is an Anglicized phonetic transcription of the Japanese word “kanmuri”, which means crown. In the U.S., Australia, and other Asian countries, the Toyota Camry has become a best-seller despite selling poorly in Japan and in Europe.

The Camry was given a fresh look for the 2010 model year with a redesigned fascia, taillights, and an all-new 2.5-liter 2AR-FE 4-cylinder engine with new 6-speed transmissions. The 2011 Camry was also given a redesigned interior and all-new sheet metal and more pointed styling has been applied to its exterior.
The Toyota Camry is powered from a choice of four and six-cylinder engines. For the 2010 model, power is increased to 169 from 158 in 2007 to 2009. Stability control, power locks, and traction control were made standard for 2010 also. The 2.4 L 2AZ-FE I4 engine was carried over and produced 158 horsepower. It came with a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic. The 3.5 L 2GR-FE V6 in contrast came with a new six-speed automatic and produces 268 horsepower (200 kW).
